Kelsey Connect | March 26, 2026
Hola Kelsey Family, Well, we've wrapped up our Lenten worship series and had our last Lenten dinner. Both were connected to our life with God in real ways. Several people told me this past Sunday will be something they remember. Last night at our dinner, I couldn't help but notice that even during cleanup, we were all smiles. I'm grateful to be the pastor of such a loving congregation! Would you help me with something? Our district needs a few more at-large delegates for annual conference. These last delegates should be filled by young adults (up to 35 years old). Would you ask someone at Kelsey in their 20s or 30s if they would be willing to represent our church this June? The spots need to be filled by Friday, so let me know quickly, please--or if you want to recommend someone for me to ask. Also, beginning Thursday, April 9th, we're inviting all our young adults to coffee. Would you help me let them know about it? Of course, Holy Week begins this Sunday. We'll have the palms ready, and begin our worship service outside for Palm Sunday. It'll be an uplifting time of praise and worship, and I hope to see you there. Stay blessed...john P.S. The United Methodist Men are hosting their monthly Breakfast & Bible Study this Saturday at 8am. For more infomation visit:

Weekly Resource
This week, as we hold onto the prayer “Restore us, O Lord,” I encourage you to spend some time with the song Weep With Me. It’s a song that doesn’t try to fix everything. Instead, it simply brings honest pain into God’s presence. And that's exactly what we've been talking about through our reflection on Lamentaitons. Yet I will praise You For more infomation visit:

Rebuilding the Ruins
Sometimes life doesn’t get better. And sometimes… God feels quiet. Keep praying anyway. From Lamentations 5, we see a faith that doesn’t pretend, doesn’t rush answers, and doesn’t give up. Hope isn’t gone. As long as we’re still praying, hope is still alive. For more infomation visit: https://www.kelseymemorial.org/podcasts/media/2026-03-22-rebuilding-the-ruins
